In General these moulded diabetic insoles will provide cushioning for the diabetic's feet.
The concept of these moulded diabetic insoles is that the top layer which is Plastazote type foam - soft - will compress and form a "crater" for an ulceration to heal.
The bottom layer is a firmer, EVA material and provides the support to go along with the cushioning.
The general life of an insole is 4 - 6 months, but will depend on the weight applied to the insole. The more weight applied, the quickier the insoles compress.
These insoles are designed to fit into traditional and additional depth orthopedic footwear.
